Handwork Exhibit | Online Only due to Hurricane Helene
Local Cloth is excited to present a special exhibit of fiber pieces emphasizing the human hand. Called Handwork, this exhibit was completely destroyed during Hurricane Helene on September 27, 2024. However, it can be viewed online here. Inspired by the work of Local Cloth's Tapestry Interest Group, the Handwork Exhibit features all types of textile and fiber art crafted by Local Cloth members.

Twelve-by-Twelve Textile Show | June 24 - August 8, 2024
The Twelve-by-Twelve Textile Show is an annual exhibit featuring fiber art crafted by Local Cloth member artists that can fit in a 12 inch by 12 inch square space. The 2024 Textile Show featured 45 artists covering the spectrum of fiber art type and technique. On Thursday, August 8, the Textile Show culminated with a closing reception and silent auction. "Who Am I, Who Are We?" | RADA Second Saturdays in 2024
This exhibit is part of the River Arts District Artists (RADA) new annual theme exhibition: "Who Am I, Who Are We?" which aims to promote dialogue between artists and the public. Local Cloth unveiled it's May 2024 display, WOOLSTORM, a riff on RADA's May theme: The Storm. Stay tuned as new displays will be unveiled every month in the front window display at Local Cloth's Studio.
