Do you have a basket of fabric scraps in desperate need of use? Come join us for this two day workshop as we delve into this inspiring scrap buster project and create our own unique and heartwarming patchwork boxy tops. We'll use the All Well Box Top pattern ( or your favorite box top pattern) as our template. Bring 1-2 yards of linen or cotton scraps of similar weights. Midweight (4-6 ounce) is perfect! This class will have elements of improvisational piecing as well as opportunities to explore with traditional quilt patterns such as the nine patch, log cabin, and sawtooth star patterns. In addition to fabric and pattern, please bring:~ a well functioning sewing maching.~ thread.~ rotary cutter/cutting mat~ fabric weights~ snips~ fabric shears~pins or clips~a desire to get creative and have fun!
Level: Beginning (students should know how to operate/thread the sewing machine and sew a straight line.)
