2D or flat needle felting consists of drawing and "painting" a picture with wool on a prefelt. The finished picture can be framed or in some cases you may want to use it to embellish a piece of clothing or a bag. The wool prefelt can be felted to any natural fiber such as linen, cotton, or wool, or it can be sewn on to the back of a jacket or a bag. There are many options, it's just up to your creative imagination. All materials to create your picture will be provided and include a foam felting pad, felting needles, wool, and a large selection of suitable subjects for your picture will be provided.
