Explore embroidery around the world. We'll take a trip across continents and through cultures to see the similarities and differences of embroidery techniques and use. We'll finish by stitching a Ukrainian motif which I learned from a Ukrainian artist on International Embroidery Day this past summer.
Level: Beginner
Materials Fee: 3 dollars for inen, floss, needles, pattern
Students should bring : embroidery hoop if you'd like to use one, scissors
