Not Your Mother’s Stitching - A Different Approach to Needlepoint or Cross-Stitch

This class will teach you the basics of embroidery and beyond. It is open to beginners as well as those with experience. We will learn about types of fabric and thread as well as the common embroidery stitches and some very different ones. Hopefully we will finish, a small pillow or something to be framed. 

This class will be taught in person and on zoom so you can access it in the studio or at home.

Members: $100

Non members: $120

Materials fee: $25

Materials provided by instructor: A sample pack that includes plastic canvas, project canvas, needles, thread and patterns to start your adventures. 

Materials students should bring:  Small, sharp thread scissors, thimble (if you prefer), magnifier or reading glasses if needed, extra work light, pencil and paper for notes.
