This 10-week, 20 session course will provide instruction on various sewing techniques for apparel, accessories, costumes and interiors. It is based on the sewing course offered at Savannah College of Art and Design, taught by former SCAD Professor of Fashion. The first part of the course will cover techniques. The later portion will include three individualized projects selected by the student. Upon completion, participants will be able to perform a comprehensive set of skills suitable for a variety of projects and entry into professional sewing. No experience necessary. This course has been discounted 25% off the regular price for individual classes so it's a great deal and wonderful opportunity to learn the fundamentals of sewing that will allow you to make and alter your own clothes as well as make basic home furnishings.
