The growing slow-fashion movement serves as an alternative to the fast fashion industry that is causing much harm to our environment and to garment workers worldwide. Slow fashion is our response that focuses on quality, sustainability, and fairness for consumers and producers. Join us every third Monday from 5 – 7 pm in our Refinery Studio to make, mend, and create loved clothes that will last. Bring your sewing machines if you are able. Otherwise, feel free to come and work on pattern drafting, cutting, mending, closures, handwork, and more.
