Carolina Textile District

The Carolina Textile District is a network of textile firms collaborating to regrow domestic manufacturing through “coopetition” and “crafted production”. The District organizes demand by connecting clients (from startups to scaling brands and established companies) to a network of 400 manufacturers and designers. The group is led by CTD’s 20 official members, which are all centered in and around the Carolinas. Staff will share how the District works, the capabilities of their membership, their goals for the future and how they carry out their mission, which is to support communities and create better livelihoods for textile workers.
The Textile Study Group is a free lecture series open to the public.

The group meets at 5:30 pm on the 3rd Wednesday (with some exceptions) at The Center for Craft Creativity and Design, 67 Broadway Street, Asheville, NC 28787.

Come as you are, no RSVP necessary.
