Students will review all planning, warping & weaving techniques while weaving a cotton towel they have designed with twill variations and warp stripes. New material includes drafting, threading and weaving reverse or point twills, winding and threading a striped warp, working with finer yarns and principles and technical aspects of designing a woven textile.
For beginners, your instructor Karen Donde recommends taking all three sessions in succession, as the best way to become comfortable with warping is frequent repetition. Experience required: Completed Session 1 & 2, OR have warped a floor loom multiple times & have basic understanding of twill.
Tuition: $120 member, $144 non-members. 10% discount if you sign up for all 3 sessions.
Materials fee: $12
