Plan, warp and weave a straight twill cotton towel on a 4-shaft floor loom. Subjects include a review of yarn selection, yarn calculations, warp winding, front-to-back warping and wet finishing, PLUS how twill works, drafting twill, sett differences and weaving/stitching a hem. We’ll also fine-tune weaving techniques, including minimizing draw-in and beating consistently.

Experience required: Completed Session 1 OR have warped a floor loom at least once. For beginners, your instructor Karen Donde recommends taking all three sessions in succession, as the best way to become comfortable with warping is frequent repetition.

Tuition: members $120, non-members $144

Materials fee $12
