As part of our Handmade for the Holiday learn how to make 4 bags in one day. This is a beginner class but you do need how to thread your sewing machine and do a straight stitch. You will learn low to insert a zipper, how to make boxed corners and how to do French seams along with basic bag construction. All these bags were made with one yard of fabric but you can definitely make them in different fabrics, it's a great way to use up smaller cuts of fabric that you might have in your stash.  Here are the bags:

1. A basic zippered pouch. You can make the size pictured or a pencil case type bag, the construction is the same

2. A boxy toiletry bag, perfect for anyone on you list and not just for toiletries. You have the option of using waterproof lining.

3. A fabric bucket, so useful for holding anything.

4. The classic drawstring bag, take it to the market on on your foraging walksThis drawstring project bag is great for holding and toting your knitting, sewing, drawing, or foraging projects. As long as you can thread your sewing machine and sew a straight stitch you can make all these bags and they can all be easily modified for different sizes.
