Warp it! Paint it! Weave it!

This class explores different methods of painting your warp using fabric paints. This spontaneous method of applying color to yarn can be used in either functional or non-functional pieces.

Level: Students should have some knowledge of weaving and how to dress a loom. Limited instruction will be given on warping the loom; this will be specific to the warp painting process. Students will be working with 8/2 unmercerized cotton, sett at 24 EPI.

Materials fee: $25includes: 2 warps, weft, paints, handouts, other misc. items used for this process
