Nearly all of us know of an aunt, grandmother, or other community member who used to tat or make other forms of lace. Most forms of lace are now created by machine but they all originated with hand-manipulated techniques. This program will discuss the history, materials and techniques of tatting and other forms of lace making.

The group meets at 5:30 pm on the 3rd Wednesday (with some exceptions) at The Center for Craft Creativity and Design, 67 Broadway Street, Asheville, NC 28787.
